Massachusetts Restrictions
Rifles
Prohibited:
- Any assault weapon listed as prohibited by the Massachusetts Attorney General
- Semi-automatic rifles with a detachable magazine and two or more of the following: folding/telescoping stock, pistol grip, bayonet mount, flash suppressor, threaded barrel, grenade launcher
- Any semi-automatic, centerfire rifle that has or accepts a magazine exceeding 5 rounds if the buyer is under the age of 21
- Stripped or complete AR Lowers
Shotguns
Prohibited:

Semi-automatic shotguns with at least two of the following: folding/telescoping stock, pistol grip, fixed magazine over 5 rounds, ability to accept a detachable magazine
- AK or AR-type shotgun patterns or any copies or duplicates
- Any assault weapon listed as prohibited by the Massachusetts Attorney General
Handguns
Prohibited:
- Any handgun with a magazine that exceeds ten rounds
- Any assault weapon listed as prohibited by the Massachusetts Attorney General
- A semi-automatic pistol that can accept a detachable magazine and at least two of the following: an ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip, a threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender/flash suppressor/forward handgrip/silencer, a shroud that attaches to or encircles the barrel to permit the shooter to hold the firearm with the non-trigger hand without being burned, has an unloaded manufactured weight more than 50 oz., or is a semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm
Ammunition and Accessories
Ammunition must be shipped and transferred through a local FFL dealer. Proof of License to Carry or Firearms ID must be provided prior to shipping.
Prohibited:
- Detachable magazines over 10 rounds
- Detachable Shotgun magazines over 5 rounds
- Self-defense sprays
